Do people not understand that can just keep their stupid mouths shut about things they have no real knowledge about? I say ‘people’ but I mean MEN (and Diane Keaton). Do men (and Diane Keaton) understand that they don’t have to defend every other man on the planet when they do something heinous?
No. That answer is a big no and Javier Bardem is here to tell you that he has doubts about Allen being a gross old pervert that inappropriately touched his daughter.
“If there was evidence that Woody Allen was guilty, then yes, I would have stopped working with him, but I have doubts,” he said. “I am very shocked by this sudden treatment. Judgments in the states of New York and Connecticut found him innocent. The legal situation today is the same as in 2007.” via Vulture
“Sudden.” Yes. And the courts are never wrong either, which is the great thing about our justice system: its perfection.
Regardless of the innocent verdicts, Allen is still married to a woman he raised as an adopted daughter for at least part of her life. That’s disgusting, y’all. Maybe instead of pretending the distaste for Allen is a brand new thing that came out of left field, maybe shut the hell up about having your doubts and admit that you don’t know what happened, you have no current plans to work with him again, and then PICK A NEW SUBJECT.
That will be $40,000, Bardem. I will accept checks from you and your useless PR wranglers.
