Ah, to be famous and out of the loop right now. Not only would you get tested for COVID-19 just from looking at someone with it, but you could emerge from a self-imposed exile to learn about its impact on the current state of the world.
If I had to guess which celebrity would saunter out of the desert after more than a week of self-reflection and isolation, my money would have been on Jared Leto. Of course, Leto, he of the Not A Cult Cult, would find himself in the desert during a time of a pandemic encroaching upon every part of the world.
I’m just glad he popped up to tell everyone to do what we are already doing. How could we continue if he had not bequeathed his newly-learned information upon us?
Now, how long until he finds out people want Johnny Depp to play The Joker in Matt Reeves’ The Batman and retreats back into the desert?
