Well Look Who Finally Made It To The Woods... And Took His Wife!

After teasing his seemingly rustic new album “Man of the Woods” with a fancy commercial filled with wild horses and campfires, Justin Timberlake has been consistently releasing new music videos that have been, ah, somewhat wanting in the “rustic” department. Sure, there’s been some flannel shirts, but mostly Timberlake has built dancing robots and gotten super woke. Ok, there was that one video where he played guitar with a bonafide country music star. But do you know what he HASN’T done yet? Gone to the damn woods.

Until now!

In the title track from the album, Timberlake does indeed appear to be a Man of the Woods — and since his wife Jessica Biel is also in the video, I’m gonna go ahead and call her a Woman of the Woods too. It was nice of him to bring her along for this one, but it should be noted that he ALSO brought along a host of his own mountain-man duplicates. Because if there is one thing that’s better than sharing a romantic barn dance with your beautiful wife, it’s getting to hang out with three more copies of yourself.

To be fair, Timberlake did explain in an Instagram video this week that the name of the album isn’t actually an attempt to go back to nature — it’s named after his son, Silas (a name which is indeed Latin for “of the forest”). But I mean, we didn’t put you in that flannel shirt, Timberlake. You did this. You reap what you sow, sir.

I feel like @djkhaled right now!!! NEW SONG ALERT! Birthday vibes! Thanks everybody for the bday love!!! And the cut @nellichristine. #ManoftheWoods #MOTW
