Is Accused Abuser Shia LaBeouf About to Become a Father?

It’s been several months since we heard about the lawsuit filed against Shia LaBeouf by his ex-partner, musician FKA Twigs, alleging physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. LaBeouf has kept a low profile, although he’s still reportedly being courted for movie roles by the likes of Abel Ferrara. Former co-star Dakota Johnson recently lamented the ‘downer’ of cancel culture in reference to him and Armie Hammer, which was a whole heap of bullsh*t.

At the time that Twigs filed her lawsuit, LaBeouf was dating actress Margaret Qualley. She quickly dumped him and signaled support for Twigs on social media. LaBeouf then reportedly got back with his ex-wife, actress Mia Goth. The pair split in 2018 but have been seen together several times over the past few months wearing their wedding rings. According to TMZ, Goth is now pregnant. Images obtained by the site seemingly show a baby bump and the outlet claims she is ‘about 4/5 months along.’ The pair were, at the time, visiting a Chuck E. Cheese.

In December 2020, FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) filed suit against LaBeouf, with the New York Times reporting that she alleged numerous incidents of disturbing, violent, and threatening behavior. She claimed that LaBeouf threatened to crash his car while Twigs was a passenger unless she professed her love for him; woke her up in the middle of the night to choke her; forced her to sleep naked; knowingly infected her with an STD; and slammed her against a car and choked her when she tried to leave. Another of LaBeouf’s ex-girlfriends, Karolyn Pho, described similar incidents from her time with the actor.

LaBeouf said in a statement that he had ‘no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.’ He also denies many of the allegations.

I hope Goth is OK and has people around her who love and care for her.
