Dean McDermott Spotted With New Girlfriend At Welfare Office After Tori Spelling Split

It’s been a bleak few years for fans of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s everlasting love. In 2021, rumors began a swirlin’ that their marriage was in big trouble: Tori admitted that she and Dean slept in separate bedrooms, they were papped without their wedding rings, and neither party posted about each other on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or their 15th anniversary. That’s an especially big deal considering Tori makes a good chunk of her income from sponsored social media posts.

According to the tabloids, Dean wanted to file for divorce, but he just couldn’t afford it. Over the next couple of years, mystery sources reported everything from “they’re trying a trial separation” to “they’re working things out in counselling!” Then, this past June, Dean dropped the bomb. He officially announced their break-up on Instagram. Even though he immediately deleted the post, sources claimed he was “100% serious about it.” The Deaner (credit: Allison of DListed) stayed true to his word; he packed his bags and relocated to a rental home in the San Fernando Valley. The 56-year-old actor has four roommates.

In the summer, 50-year-old Tori and her five kids moved into an RV after a toxic mold infestation forced them out of their rental home. Papa McDermott did not join them. According to the Daily Mail, Dean was actually pissed about the move. He allegedly believed Tori did it for “sympathy,” as she was “not broke” and had many offers from friends to stay at their houses. I mean, I could totally see Tori doing something like that for the attention, but the whole “not broke” thing doesn’t sound like our girl. HMMMMM.

Then, last week, Dean took his split from Tori to the next level. No, he didn’t file for divorce (that’s still, like, super expensive). He debuted his new girlfriend! At the LA welfare office! In front of the paparazzi! Introducing 32-year-old Lily Calo:

The Daily Mail says Dean held Lily’s hand while carrying “a large stack of white envelopes” into the Department of Social Services. At one point, Lily “snuggled up to her beau while looking over the paperwork to seemingly make sure it was all filled out correctly.” Even though they had to wait outside for 40 minutes, “the pair seemed to be in great spirits and could be heard chuckling, and cracking jokes while waiting.” Eventually, it was Dean’s turn. He and Lily entered the office, filed their paperwork, and left 15 minutes later.

According to Lily’s LinkedIn page, the new future Mrs. McDermott is a senior account executive at Conscious Community Global in Los Angeles. It’s unclear where she met Dean, but the pair were pictured together in late 2022 while working on a community project together.

After the Dean/Lily photos hit the Internet on Friday, Tori had no choice but to immediately take her children out for a lunchtime pap stroll in Calabasas:
