Because Halloween came smack dab in the middle of the week, revelers had multiple chances to slip into something scary, silly or strange. And that’s great news for those of us who can’t get enough of Hollywood doing Halloween! Earlier this week, we shared pics of the best of celebrity costumes from last weekend. Today we toast the looks our stars trotted out for Halloween proper.

Jeopardy host Alex Trebek let his hair down and his tongue out, transforming into KISS’s Gene Simmons.

Lupita Nyong’o looked flawless in her Clueless costume.

Logan’s Stephen Merchant as Doctor Strange is adorable, dorky, and alluring.

Over the weekend Joe Jonas stepped into the look of his Lady Stark. But for Halloween, he and Sophie Turner went full Addams Family, going as Gomez and Morticia.

Lizzo lived her sea witch fantasy as The Little Mermaid’s Ursula.

Beyoncé and Jay Z wore a couples costume of champions, dressing as Florence Griffith-Joyner (AKA Flo-Jo, known as the fastest woman of all time, and Olympic medalist Tommie Smith, who famously took to the podium with purpose and politics.

Ciara showed her love for Black Panther.

While Rachel Bloom showed love for her dog.

Kylie Jenner went as basic Barbie.

Justin Timberlake was happy to play LEGO Robin to his kiddo’s LEGO Batman.

Padma Lakshmi and her daughter went dark as the Black Swan and Maleficent.

And Heidi Klum, the undisputed queen of Hollywood Halloween, spent hours and untold moneys to look like a fairytale princess. Specifically, Fiona from Shrek. Her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz was naturally her one true ogre.
