Twas the weekend before Halloween and all through the land, adults donned their sexy costumes and went out partying because October 31st is a weeknight and Wednesday morning hangovers are ill-advised. Many celebrities showed off the power of hotness and money with their outfits, with many deciding to adhere to the SAG-AFTRA request that they not wear anything that would be seen as promoting struck work. Not everyone did. Megan Fox was oh-so-edgy in tagging the union on her post with her Kill Bill and Death Note costumes because she sticks it to the man like that. Anyway, here are some of the best costumes from the past weekend.

Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DGG dressed as Janet Jackson and Tupac from the film Poetic Justice.

Megan Thee Stallion celebrated Hottieween with an Alice in Wonderland-themed party, and went all-out as one of the roses. It doesn't quite top her masterful Pinhead outfit from a few years back, but it's Megan Thee Stallion. She looks incredible in everything.

Jessica Alba went for some classic Britney.

Teyana Taylor paid homage to the Wayans brothers with her outfit.

As did Paris Hilton.

Edward Norton and his wife clearly enjoyed The Beckhams on Netflix.

Keke Palmer and her adorable son channeled classic horror.

Saweetie said 'Edward Scissorhands but make it fashion.'

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler went for a very chic couples costume idea: Edie and Andy! I wonder if Austin did the Warhol voice for months beforehand to prepare.

Since Barbie is a struck film, that meant you didn't see a ton of celebs wearing costumes for it. Country singer Kelsea Ballerini was an exception, and she looked great.

Pastels? Not for Adele and her Morticia Addams look.

The Foo Fighters dressed up as the characters from The Wizard of Oz for their SNL appearance, so I'm counting it.

Of course, we can't really judge Halloween properly until we see Heidi Klum's outfit. No celebrity goes as hard or as weird for the season as Klum, whose costumes are elaborate and gross and often delightfully inexplicable (the worm?!)

Yesterday, she took to Instagram with some casual nudes, noting 'the calm before the storm' as her annual party kicks off this week. 'GO BIG OR GO HOME' she writes. And we are expecting big things, Heidi. Weird us out!
