Anne Hathaway sure is busy this year. She’s got no fewer than five new releases on the calendar for 2026. These aren’t minor indie titles either: She already served legendary fashion looks on the promotional trails of Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2. This Summer, she has the dino sci-fi survival flick The End of Oak Street and a little movie called The Odyssey. Then she’ll close out the year with the Colleen Hoover adaptation Verity. As an Arsenal fan, she’s also been celebrating big this year. She likes to keep herself occupied, I assume. And now, on top of that, she’s just announced that she’s pregnant again!
Hathaway shared the news on Instagram with a very cute video showing off her wee bump.
We love Annie and her imperial era. We love her dominance in movies for 2026 and anyone who ever dares to utter the term “backlash” will be sent down a hill in a Trojan horse. There is something about this year that feels like a great period of vindication for the actress. We’ve all mercifully moved on from lambasting her for having an earnest personality (alas, the target has swung to other women, as it always does), and the past few years has seen her expand her range with some really fascinating and oft-underseen projects, like the noir Eileen, the rom-com She Came to Me, annd James Gray’s Armageddon Time. In interviews, she remains warm and charming, candid about the Hathahate and focused on the good stuff. She’s also super funny! What a good time to be Annie. Am I gushing? A little. Look, I will forever scowl at the people who tried to make us hate Hathaway and never let that go, dammit.
Again, congrats to Hathaway, her husband, and their sons. Please dress the little one in a tiny Arsenal kit.
