Al Pacino's 29-Year-Old Girlfriend Files For Full Physical Custody Of Their Baby

54 years. That’s how long As The World Turns was on the air. It’s also the duration of Emperor Hui of Han’s reign over ancient China. But, most importantly, 54 years is the length of time Al Pacino was on this Earth before the birth of his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah.

Back in June, 83-year-old Al and 29-year-old Noor welcomed a son together, Roman. This was Noor’s first baby and Al’s fourth. He has a 33-year-old daughter with Jan Tarrant and 22-year-old twins with Beverly D’Angelo. A couple months before Roman’s birth, Al’s longtime co-star/friend/direct rival in the great “Who Was Hotter?” Twitter debate, 80-year-old Robert DeNiro, welcomed a baby girl with his 45-year-old partner, Tiffany Chen. Suddenly, two octogenarian screen legends were new dads! How exciting (or: irresponsible, creepy, bizarre, sad [go ahead and pick your preferred adjective]).

When the pregnancy news broke in May, sources told TMZ that Al had only recently discovered Noor was expecting. He allegedly demanded she take a paternity test, as he believed he could no longer impregnate a woman in light of “medical issues” (diagnosis: OLD). Noor took the test and Al was the father. A week later, paps caught up with Al on his daily constitutional and asked about the pregnancy. He kept things positive and said, “It’s very special. It always has been. I’ve got many kids. But this is really special coming at this time.” Since Roman was born, Al and Noor have been spotted going out on dinner dates in L.A. They were last seen together in August.

Fast forward to yesterday, when Page Six reported Noor had filed for full physical custody of 3-month-old Roman. The court documents showed that Noor was willing to give “reasonable visitation” rights to Al and requested that they share legal custody. This would give Al a say in major decisions like schooling and medical treatment. Noor also requested that the Oscar winner pay for her legal fees and other court-related costs. Hoo-ah!

Now, I ain’t no baby-law expert, but filing for full physical custody sorta implies you’re no longer with the father of your child, right? Welp, according to Al’s rep, Noorcino are still very much an item:

“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child, Roman. They are still together.”

So, if Noor and Al really are still together, why would Noor file for physical custody? Is it because Al’s too old to properly care for their baby? Is Noor worried he’ll die suddenly and she wants to cover her bases? Or is it as simple as they don’t live in the same house? Again, I know nothing of the law (except for the cases covered on The Real Housewives).

Noor and Al were first spotted out together in April 2022. Sources claimed the pair had started dating during the pandemic. They described Noor as an “old soul” whose type is “rich older men.” Her exes include 80-year-old Mick Jagger (they dated when she was 23), 62-year-old billionaire Nicolas Berggruen, and maaaybe 91-year-old Clint Eastwood. Noor and Clint were papped going out to dinner together back in 2019, but she told the Daily Mail he was just “a family friend.”

So far, all we’ve seen of baby Roman is this very cute baby-hand picture on Instagram. In the caption, Noor describes her son as “my whole heart and the greatest blessing in my life”:
