Sometimes, two ridiculously good-looking people find one another and us mere mortals are blessed with the opportunity to gaze upon their joint gorgeousness, and you can’t even be mad about it. Step forward Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre.
The ridiculously talented singer-actress-choreographer is starring in the new Paul Thomas Anderson film One Battle After Another. She’s also just released her fourth studio album, Escape Room, which came with its own short film starring a certain Aaron Pierre. You might recognize him from The Morning Show, Pajiba favourite Rebel Ridge, and the beach that makes you old. The future Green Lantern has reportedly been dating Taylor for a few months now. And wow, they’re hot together. Like, is this legal?
The pair — TeyRon? — made their red carpet debut as a couple at the London premiere of One Battle After Another. Her abs were the third wheel.
I do wish Pierre had dressed a little edgier, just to match Taylor’s incredible look — she really is one of the best-dressed celebrities we have — but I imagine he didn’t want to overshadow her on her big night. A smart man. She’s really having a moment in Hollywood after years as an acclaimed R&B artist who never quite broke out into the mainstream. She even briefly retired from music because she felt so frustrated with how her record label was treating her. Now, she’s getting raves for a PTA movie and is one of the stars of that Ryan Murphy lawyers show with Kim Kardashian. And she snagged a Green Lantern!
Also, I have to throw this out there. Cast Teyana and Aaron as Akasha and Enkil in season three of Interview With the Vampire.
