Let's Get Weird: The "Happy Endings" vs. "New Girl" GIF Throwdown
The two funniest sitcoms on television right now are "Happy Endings" and "New Girl" ("Parks and Rec" is still the best and sweetest), and both shows happen to air against each other, which for folks with DVRs makes for one hell of a splendid Tuesday evening. It's probably my favorite hour of television right now, notwithstanding the excellent season of The Walking Dead.
I came up with the notion of having a GIF-Off between the two competing shows last night, before the episodes aired, so I had no idea that "New Girl" would so thoroughly annihilate "Happy Endings" this week, thanks again to the scene-stealing GIF wunderkind, Nick Miller.
It wasn't even close this week, with "New Girl" taking more entries, plus most of the top spots. In fact, I had to snub a few "New Girl" GIFs just to give "Happy Endings" some screen time.
