Definitely a late addition to the list of my favorite Halloween-themed TV episodes.

Best Lines

  • “You look like Bretty Butler after karate class.”

  • “God gave you melons. Make melonade.”

  • “If I wanna watch kids I’ll open a playground.”

  • I want to go to my weird, gay, turkey party!”

How is it that these are all from CityTV? I guess it really is everywhere.

  • My favorite part MIGHT be when Max bites Penny and she reaches down and bites him back then he goes for the taquito. It was magnificent.

    @ Mrs Julien

It starts with the Norse god of thunder and ends with what you have to pay to continue living in an apartment that you don't own.

Yeah I was surprised this episode was that good. I mean I like the show but usually it's not that funny or memorable.

Posted by: googergieger at October 27, 2011 12:42 PM

No, actually usually it is pretty damn funny and memorable. That's why we've all been talking about it so damn much.

Baby Max dancing destroyed me. I loved how easily he embraced the term "weird turkey party".

Jane gets more adorable each episode. I thought I would hate her character but she's so freaking spot on with her delivery. She and Brad are my favorite TV couple.

Elisha Cuthbert made a seriously hot Marylin, even with the man voice. Her revelation that she was never really on board with the whole "Double Penns" couple's costume was way harsh.

The baby arms did me in. That was super creepy/hilarious.

    That and "The Doors" costume.

If by, "talking about it so damn much", you mean, "on the weekly recap posts, everyone talks about Community and Parks and Rec". Then you really said that wrong. Like, not even close.

I like the show, and it is good, but lets not "Seinfeld's first season" this mothertrucker...

Posted by: googergieger at October 27, 2011 1:11 PM

I laughed every damned time Max moved the teeny baby arms.

Posted by: Julie at October 27, 2011 1:11 PM

Max Baby was one of creepiest thing I have ever seen

My favorite line of the night was: "No one is close enough to high five you."

Posted by: Me at October 27, 2011 4:42 PM

Just didn't feel it last night - probably because Brad and Max didn't have enough scenes together. Their chemistry is just so beautiful.

Screw it, I'm becoming a full-on Brad and Max shipper. Brax forever!

I did love the, "who bacons somebody?!" line as well.

Posted by: googergieger at October 27, 2011 7:29 PM

Max walks a fine line between hilarious and being too much, in my opinion.
