First, they announced that there would be a Han Solo spin off/anthology series, and there was much excitement.
Then, we were told that Christopher Miller and Phil Lord would be tackling the anthology and we started to lose it.
Shortly thereafter, we were told that Alden Ehrenreich would be playing the legendary Han Solo and, well? Fine. That’s fine. He’s no Jensen Ackles, but whatevs.
BUT THEN WE GOT DONALD GLOVER AS LANDO AND EVERYTHING JUST MELTED OUR GODDAMNED FACES BECAUSE FUCK YEAH, HOLLYWOOD!
Now Chewbacca is going to be in it, too?!?!
Wait. It gets better. Because now it’s being reported that Woody Harrelson will be joining the as-yet untitled Han Solo movie as Solo’s mentor. AS HIS MENTOR.
It’s ok. I’ll wait.
There it is.
Now for the bit of bad news: because of a few hold ups, filming will start in February. Also, there’s a rumor that because of the new Harrelson casting, the film may not be released until December 13, 2018, even though the official release day is still May 25, 2018 (according to Making Star Wars.)
It’s going to be fine, everyone. We are one with the Force and the Force is with us.
