Repulsive-American Donald Trump has made hating on Mexico a major element of his bid for the presidency. He kicked off his campaign with a dizzying wallop of racist remarks. He’s made “build that wall” not only a campaign promise, but a terrifying rallying cry at his tour stops. And his claims that Mexico will somehow pay for this bigoted edifice have drawn criticism and outrage from the nation’s current and former president. So, you might understandably assume Trump has roundly surrendered the Latino vote to the Democrats. Well, not all of them. Allow us to introduce self-proclaimed “Mexican for Trump” Marco Gutierrez, who went on national television to warn Americans about the true threat Mexico poses to the American way of life.
On All In With Chris Hayes, the Latinos for Trump founder declared, “My culture is a very dominant culture…If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner.” Seriously. You can watch him say that below.

Taco trucks on every corner. Not as a promise, but as a threat. Twitter was quick to declare taco-love trumps hate.
Of all the things to scare white voters with re: mexicans, Trump's guy picks TACO PROLIFERATION? Even straight up KLANSMEN love tacos!

Below you can watch All In’s full segment on Trump’s failure to court Latino voters, and revel in Dominican-American/New York State Senator Adriano Espaillat’s dignified rejoinder to Gutierrez’s gross oversimplification and bizarre vilification of Mexican culture.
