I mean, you knew that pretty hair was too good to let go, right? After months of speculation following “Mother’s Mercy,” we’ve had hints Jon Snow survived that mass-stabbing, including photos of Kit Harington with fellow GoT actors in Belfast (where filming is ongoing), and the actor’s (barely translatable) own admission he’s still under contract. And as we’ve been metaphorically pulling out the twigs from Snow’s unnecessary (or from which he’ll emerge unburnt) funeral pyre, these new photos on location in Northern Ireland would seem to be the final branch.
Also, that looks like Melisandre (Carice van Houton) inside the tent, no? The question is, did Jon rise from the ashes on his own (thus revealing his suspected true Targaryen heritage), or did Melisandre play, “Ooh-hoo-witchay-woman,” and bring back a fully-grown ghost-baby?
For the time being, at least that mystery remains.
