I love this woman as Big Boo, and I love this woman as herself. Lea DeLaria was riding the Queens-bound M-train in NYC when a hate-spewing preacher (a train regular) began his morning routine. DeLaria wasn’t having it. Drowning him out, she led her fellow passengers in a rousing rendition of 99 Bottles of Beer…
…after which she just got in his face and — among other things — told the man “You’re what’s wrong with America.” When the preacher resorts to name-calling, DeLaria hit him back with bible quotes. And when he finally left the train…”Thank god,” (to much applause).
