Back in 2009, Benedict Cumberbatch narrated the BBC documentary series South Pacific and during one of the episodes, attempted to say the word “penguins” many times…to no avail. It’s really quite amusing to hear such a serious and recognizable voice mushmouth his way through a series of different, clearly incorrect pronunciations of what you might consider a simple word. P-E-N-G-U-I-N. Say it with me, Opus.
