Parents know that Halloween can be a special kind of hell. You shell out a stupid amount of money for a Halloween costume, or work tirelessly on creating one, and then that kid that you did it all for decides they don’t want to be a pirate anymore. Or they are allergic to pictures all of a sudden. Or they would rather just throw a tantrum.
I saw all kinds of parental meltdowns on my timeline throughout the weekend. Then I saw this from groundbreaking Emmy-winner Viola Davis.
So…..the Elsa costume? Didn't work for her. The Pirate? A no go. So she finally said," I just want to be YOU mommy"! So… uhh…..this is ME.
