Twitter Users Ponder Films They Consider To Be Masterpieces That Aren't Talked About Enough

I saw a great Twitter prompt the other day, asking people to name films they consider to be not talked about enough for how good they are. My mind was immediately whipped up into a storm of unjustly forgotten or semi-forgotten masterpieces, but a few movies popped out of the maelstrom first. Three of these are listed in the replies to the Twitter prompt: Take Shelter (which we bloody love here), Coherence, and Christian Petzold’s 2014 Phoenix. Another relatively recent film that came to mind was the The Secret in their Eyes (obviously not the remake), which struck me even at the time as a stone-cold modern blockbuster masterpiece, and which has only gone up in my estimations since then.
