The #HollywoodAtHomeChallenge Is Allowing Bored People To Recreate James Dean And Other Stars

How are you spending your days at home? Are you playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons like your life depends on it? (I am.) Are you attempting to separate work and life, spending the same amount of time on both even though you only switch rooms?

Those are all good and valid things to do right now. Another interesting thing is taking an iconic Hollywood figure or movie scene and recreating it with items you have on hand at home. Then you post that picture to social media. Like this:

This trend was started by Alex Moore (@alexanderedmoore) and Jack Howard (@jackhoward). Alex reached out to me to let me know the impetus for this fun challenge:

[We] started it last week as a way to help encourage people to stay at home, and despite this prolonged period of isolation, bring people together. It’s obviously totally snowballed in no time at all and gone all over the world since then as people are getting so incredibly creative doing it.
