Good morning everyone.
Covfefe.
Oh, what? You don’t know? It’s quite simple, really:
Cov.
fefe.
Listen: a few years ago, one of our MPs over here in Britain, Ed Balls, tweeted this:
As a result, every April 28th the nation now celebrates Ed Balls day.
The Tweet was obviously an accident on Mr. Balls’ part, but it was nevertheless a pretty ridiculous thing to post on the social media site. Personally I’d considered it the most ridiculous thing a politician has ever Tweeted, despite that basically being a concise summary of Donald Trump’s presidency. Well I guess Trump sat up and took notice of his place in my Ridiculous Twitter pecking order and as a result he got jealous, because last night, shortly after midnight in Washington, he tweeted this:
The Tweet has since been deleted, but you better believe that Twitter has—like a child running around with a hoop-on-a-stick, laughing and playing in the shadow of a blossoming mushroom cloud—been having fun with it:
