April Fool’s Day is often a curse more than a blessing, because a lot of people who think they have a great sense of humor are actually sadistic fuckwits. But here’s the precious few pranks that were actually pretty damn hilarious.
PornHub traumatized users with the promise that your mom will know your masturbation search terms:

IKEA promised us Big Land: land of in-store bars, and Premium Swedish Meatball Eye Masks.
Paul Feig riled the MRAs who claim lady Ghostbusters bust childhoods.
Riot Fest announced the greatest line-up to never happen:
The Shazaam movie you might remember all Berenstein Bears style got a VHS “revival” on Think Geek.
And College Humor “found” some lost footage.
But the coolest “prank” to come out of April Fools’ Day was hands down the unannounced arrival of Rick and Morty’s season three premiere. After we got Rick and Morty rolled, we were dubious when this news hit the internet. But it’s true! Adult Swim streamed the episode—called “The Rickshank Redemption”—on a loop through the weekend.
We won’t get the rest of the episodes until summer. But don’t even worry, dawg. If you missed this streaming premiere, you can watch it now on Facebook. Or right here:
And for all this, the makers of Rick and Morty want just one thing in return: the revival of that sweet Mulan movie tie-in Szechuan sauce at McDonald’s.
Please God, I don't ask for much, please let us gain enough cultural influence to force McDonald's into bringing back that fucking sauce.— Rick (((and Morty))) (@RickandMorty) April 2, 2017
But for now, all McDonald’s is offering from April Fools’ Day is weak sauce.
We want Szechuan sauce!
