Technology is an amazing thing but its magic isn’t necessarily permanent. Tattoos, on the other hand…

A fan of the Argentinian football team Club Atlético River Plate decided to show his adoration in a rather unique way. He had a QR code tattooed on his leg that, when scanned with his phone, would show a YouTube video of his beloved team scoring some goals.

That’s admittedly pretty cool. A gimmick, sure, but it beats Ben Affleck’s bat-tat or any number of drunken mistakes you’ve made on a holiday to Magaluf. Anyone ever seen the world’s most horrifying reality series, Just Tattoo of Us? Then you’ll know what I’m talking about. Basically, there are worse things to have inked on you for life, but the problem with directly connecting something that permanent on your body with a YouTube video is that the site is far less merciful about your sacrifice. Besides, people on the internet are d*cks.

Ouch.

On the bright side, it’ll be a hell of a lot easier to cover up than this.
