Fox News Fires Diamond & Silk For Spreading Conspiracy Theories, Yet Still Keeps Thongy Limerick Around

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Diamond & Silk, they rose to fame during the 2016 election for being the only two black women in America who voted for Donald Trump. OK, that’s not entirely true — there were probably at least five other ones, maybe even six — but the duo have been a staple at Trump rallies and the White House ever since. Nothing like deflecting the actions of a blatantly racist administration by wheeling out two black ladies like a bad episode of Seinfeld.

Anyway, Diamond and Silk hosted a weekly streaming series for Fox Nation that reportedly got the axe after the pair continued to spread wildly dangerous conspiracy theories on social media during a time when Fox News is attempting (way too late) to look like it didn’t turn its viewers into brain-f*cked idiots who reject facts and science therefore ensuring their fate as corpses and/or redneck Typhoid Marys during a pandemic. So it really doesn’t have behoove Fox to have two of its hosts out here telling people to deliberately expose themselves to the virus like they’re writers for The Federalist. (Remember when the website published by Meghan McCain’s husband told people to have infection parties? Good times.)

Via The Daily Beast:

A day after Diamond and Silk’s last Fox Nation episode was posted online, Twitter removed a post from the pro-Trump sisters calling for people to expose themselves to the virus that has now killed more than 55,000 Americans. “The only way we can become immune to the environment; we must be out in the environment,” the since-deleted tweet read. “Quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick!”

They followed up that deleted tweet with an April 10 live stream that featured the pair pushing even more unhinged conspiracies and dangerous commentary, like saying they’ll refuse to take any coronavirus vaccine that tech giant Bill Gates was involved in because he’s pushing for “population control.”

“Kudos if you make your vaccines for people and you want to help people,” Diamond exclaimed. “But I have a problem receiving any vaccine from any entity, especially anybody like Bill Gates who pushed for population control. The same thing that Margaret Sanger pushed for.”

“Abortions! Genocide!” Silk shouted in response.

If you saw my post on the Bill Gates conspiracy theory the other day and wondered what kind of idiot actually falls for this shit? Now you know!

Interestingly, Diamond and Silk’s firing occurred on the same day that another Fox Nation host ran afoul of Twitter. Earlier today, Tomi Lahren tweeted out this piping hot turd of a take:

“Compliance starting to look a whole lot like willful slavery #ReopenAmerica.”

Tubby Lozenger has since deleted the tweet, but it’s not known if that decision was voluntary or not. Again, Fox News is in a frenzied state of image control to the point where it’s telling its stars to please stop cheering anti-lockdown rallies.

Via NPR:

Fox News personalities have been cheerleading protesters across the U.S. gathering in defiance of state lockdown orders. This week, the situation became so extreme that a top executive at the network tried to rein in his stars.

Fox News President Jay Wallace sent a directive Monday urging Fox anchors to take time on the air to remind protesters to practice social distancing, according to a senior executive at Fox. The executive said Wallace issued it at the behest of Fox CEO Suzanne Scott. Wallace and Scott declined to be interviewed for this story.

Turns out even people who work at Fox News are smart enough to know how these rallies are going to end because it’s exactly like this. Right on schedule.

As for Taurus Littlenuts, she clearly didn’t get the memo and is still boosting the protests as of this afternoon, seemingly in defiance of Fox News’ efforts.

Notably, Tacky’s job is still intact because you didn’t think Fox would actually fire the young white blonde girl, did you? Sure, Trish Regan got bounced to the curb for spreading horseshit, but take a quick look at her birth date to figure out how easy that decision was. The bastards probably didn’t even blink.
