In #thesetryingtimes, Twitter can be both a blessing and a curse. OK, lately the “blessings” have been few and fleeting, like unexpectedly finding a dime when you didn’t think you had any change, so now somebody can hand you a fiver back instead of $4.90. And the curses, well, best to concentrate on the blessings. Today I was thankful that I follow @CrapTaxidermy because in a sea of Stormy/Kanye/FuckYouNoFuckyous, it’s nice to be greeted thusly:

The account is run by Adam Cornish, and from what I gather, he’s just a regular guy who appreciates failed effort enough to give it a snappy caption and share it with the world. It’s a small kindness that I appreciate. Never mean or cynical, @craptaxedermy gives me just the little boost I need to push through page after page of hot takes on the idiots, liars, and creeps of the day.

I mean, what’s not to love.

It’s relatable, funny, and completely inoffensive (to me, at least). Count your blessings, people! Count each and every one.
