A new and adorable chapter has been written in the history of one of the internet’s all-time silliest and most satisfying memes. Brant (A.K.A. They’re Good Dogs Brent) has reconnected with WeRateDogs, the playful Twitter account that once gently mocked him. And their exchange is nothing short of magic.
But first a bit of history. WeRateDogs is a Twitter account devoted entirely to rating dogs. Here’s a sample of their reviews:
This is Ella. She made a new fren today. Wants to know if they can schedule a playdate. Of course you can. Both 13/10 would boop carefully #SeniorPupSaturday pic.twitter.com/yTah99QgsT

This is Nellie. She visits the sunflowers as often as she can. They make her smile. 13/10 would smile back pic.twitter.com/Ix9CRPtxbG

Here's a doggo blowing bubbles. It's downright legendary. 13/10 would watch on repeat forever (vid by Kent Duryee) pic.twitter.com/YcXgHfp1EC

While many followers revel over the ever-enthusiastic tone and high scores, Brant infamously took issue. And so came the response that became a beloved meme.
Now, nearly two years later, Brant reached out to WeRateDogs with news. He got a doggo of his own, and was hoping the respected account would rate his puppers. WeRateDogs shared the following screenshots of their DM:
Folks… we have come full circle. This is Charlie, dog of Brant. He naps in a pineapple and really likes french fries. 14/10 you’ve got a good dog, Brent pic.twitter.com/iYnjpphWau

What online rivalry would you like to see come to a peaceable—and possibly puppy-inspired—end next?
