Twitter has decided conspiracy theorist/propagandist/harasser of grieving parents, Alex Jones, will not be banned from their social media platform, as founder Jack Dorsey claims the InfoWars owner has not “violated our rules.”

So what does violate the terms of service of Twitter? Here’s an incomplete list of users who’ve been banned or suspended.

Whores of Yore, an account that shares antique erotica and lessons on old-timey sexual slang.

Armie Hammer Dancing To was an account that only posted the video clip of Hammer dancing in Call Me By Your Name, swapping out different music each time. It’s still banned—presumably over copyright issues—and the sheer joy it brought is lost. (Here’s a similar tweet, from an unbanned user.)

Gamer Nicci Howe was suspended for tweeting about the video game Dragon Age. Specifically, she had to delete a tweet about elves that was seen as “hateful conduct.” Elves—last Pajiba checked—are fictional creatures. The children of Sandy Hook and their parents are real. The New York Times and every other major newspaper in the US have fact-checked that.

The wildly popular OhNoSheTwitnt, known for sharing political commentary and conservative-skewering jokes, had her account suspended for calling Anne Coulter a Nazi.

The Wire creator David Simon was reportedly banned for violating the guidelines that state “You may not make specific threats of violence or wish for the serious physical harm, death, or disease of an individual or group of people.”

In a heated exchange, Simon told one user to “Die of boils,” and another “You should die of a slow-moving venereal rash that settles in your lying throat.” Simon did not claim that the shooting deaths of 20 children was a lie intended to put political pressure on the NRA, pushing dangerous propaganda that has made those dead children’s grieving parents fear for their safety. But an empty threat about death by boils is clearly worse.

Meanwhile, coder and activist Russel Neiss saw the auto-ban of the bot he built with Rabbi Charlie Schwartz to remember the Jewish refugees of the St. Louis Manifest, who were denied sanctuary in America. No explanation was offered. Neiss told us he suspects it was because the original version of the bot @ed Donald Trump with each tweet. The second model (@Stl_Manifest) did not, and has faced no punishment from Twitter.

Did we miss a Twitter ban/suspension? Share it in comments. To ensure a better visual experience on the site, Donald Trump is now being replaced with photos of Kate Beckinsale, Sarah Sanders is being replaced by images of Taiki Waititi, and Alex Jones is being replaced with photos of Sporty Spice, Mel C.
