Welcome Ferris Bueller To The Black Parade

How many of you have actually tried syncing up The Wizard Of Oz to The Dark Side Of The Moon? Probably very few, I’m guessing, because unless you and all your friends are super high it makes for a pretty boring night of entertainment. Anyway, that’s old and busted. The new hotness is fast-forwarding through Ferris Bueller’s Day Off until you get to the part with the parade and then turning on My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black Parade.” Observe:

You will notice that there are cuts for time that were made to this video (most egregiously, the guy who does a dolphin flip in the crowd), which naturally would lead one to question whether the song does sync up so perfectly. Well, friends, I have done the deed myself, and I can tell you: not really? The clip’s about a minute shorter, so you don’t get that satisfying ending where Ferris collapses on the crowd. But trust me, up until then it’s extremely smooth sailing.
