This is just a tease from the interview with Stephen Colbert that David Letterman will have in tonight’s episode of The Late Show, but it’s enlightening if only to see Dave introduce Colbert for the first time since Colbert was named his replacement and because, honestly, there’s still a great deal of novelty in seeing Colbert out of character for me.

They same very fond of one another, enough to even take a goofy selfie for the Twitters.
