This Theatrical Ode to Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf Is Perfection

I didn’t think anything could beat Last Week Tonight’s staging of a dog Supreme Court for best new thing in the world this week, but this might do it.

Singer-songwriter Rob Cantor penned a special ditty several years ago detailing a believable encounter one might have when lost in the woods with Hollywood superstar and actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf. He’s covered in blood! He’s got an axe! (Shia surprise!) It became a viral hit in the spring of 2012 thanks to being completely random and catchy and so, so random.

Now, though, Cantor has brought his vision to life with the help of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, the West L.A. Children’s Choir, and the Argus Quartet. Come for the papier-mâché LaBeouf heads, interpretative dancing, and wary-looking children; stay for the acrobatics and Citizen Kane reference.

If that doesn’t deserve a standing ovation, nothing does.
