There Was A Second Funny Sketch Cut From James Franco's SNL? Really?

What in the sweet holy hell is happening with showrunners this week? Is there something in the water? Or the Sony leaks have put everyone one edge? Let’s check in:

- I haven’t watched Sons of Anarchy in years, but it’s been pretty well documented that Kurt Sutter nails his landings. The series finale, however, has been met with some mixed reviews.

- Aaron Sorking thought “Oh Shenandoah” was “really good.” Oh, Aaron. It was not.

- And now we have yet another in a long list of examples of Lorne Michaels cutting the wrong sketch.

I’m not saying that Lorne Michaels no longer knows what’s funny, or that he should be kicked off of the show that he created and ran for 40 years. But I am saying that he shouldn’t be allowed to do anything of any importance on that show anymore. Someone please find Mr. Michaels a nice spot where he can shout from the back of the room about how funny he still is and how no one understands what he’s trying to do here. aka The Chevy Chase Chair.
