TNT is launching their television channel in Belgium, and as part of its marketing campaign, they stuck a button on a quiet city street with a sign above that said, “Push to add drama.” They waited around until someone pushed it, then all hell broke loose.
That’s precisely the sort of thing they can do in Belgium but not in America, because in America some nutter would probably sue for emotional distress, and then the cable networks would spend the next four days exploring why it was such an egregiously miscalculated PR stunt.
