If it wasn’t for the Nazis, we’d probably have to think of new bad guys all the time, but the slim silver lining to all their atrocities is that we have the default evil doer for everything. Who needs blackhats? Just slap a swastika on somebody and you’re good. I envision a time when history has faded a little bit further, when the genres really start to collapse, when a cowboy movie ostensibly set in the 1800s has a bad guy with a swastika. And on that day, historians everywhere will weep, but they should have seen it coming. After all, history repeats itself.

Here is the complete short film of a proto-Ironman power armor steam punk dude going to town against the Nazi hordes of World War II.

Power armor and Nazis? You’re some gratuitous toplessness away from fifteen-year old me’s ideal movie.

Here it is:

And if you don’t have the time to watch it now, here’s the obligatory plot summary, which is exactly the same length as the ones for full length movies:

1943. Thousands of feet above Northern Europe a small plane carries a skeleton crew of the Allies best, including special operative captain Joseph Colburn. His handler, major Thomas Hardy does a final review of the mission’s grim intel: infiltrate a mysterious villa on the Polish border and uncover its secrets. Colburn emerges donning a prototype suit, which can temporarily render its user invisible. As the plane’s bay doors howl open Colburn begins to put on the skull-faced helmet when the plane is rocked by an anti-aircraft shell. Rapidly losing air pressure and altitude, now there’s no question… This is a one-way mission.
