New 'Doctor Who' Trailer Promises More Mysterious Maisie Williams

Earlier this summer, the first trailer for season nine of Doctor Who was released at Comic-Con, and its promise of nonstop butt kicking excitement made it hard not to be impatient. So if you’ve already burned through season 8 on Netflix, you may be feeling like the next Who-less month before the new season premieres will be an especially long one. But this new trailer which was released today is a perfect little jolt of Doctor, giving us lots to both tide us over and increase our anticipation. We’ve got some nice longer looks at the things we were teased with in that Comic-Con trailer: a bevy of baddies (including more of Michelle Gomez’s Missy), some real rock star Capaldi action, and— most exciting of all— a lot more of Maisie William’s still unnamed but impeccably coiffed character.
