I'm Sorry To Do This On a Monday, But This Video Will Make You Cry

Hi, hello, happy Monday.

It’s tough sometimes, right, the world? Just being in it. All sorts of challenges and emotional moments that can potentially bring a person to their knees. All we are as a person, in some ways, is the sum total of how we react to those moments. How do we choose to ride the swells?

Mohammed Bzeek is a Libyan-born Muslim man who lives in Azusa, CA.

He has chosen to ride the swells by fostering terminally ill children. Get your hankies ready and look:

That video is the accompanying one for the GoFundMe campaign set up for Mr. Bzeek and his care of these children. It followed a story in the LA Times about Mr. Bzeek. I recommend you read that whole story. It starts like this:

The children were going to die.

Mohamed Bzeek knew that. But in his more than two decades as a foster father, he took them in anyway — the sickest of the sick in Los Angeles County’s sprawling foster care system.

He has buried about 10 children. Some died in his arms.

And it only gets more powerful from there.

Anyway, as I said: Happy Monday.
