Sarcastic, sneering, mean, and hilarious, Joel McHale pulled no punches in his White House Correspondent’s Dinner monologue, taking digs at Obama, Chris Christie, Republican racism, and the Tea Party. He even delivered a few below the belt jokes at Vice President Biden’s expense. It’s one of those speeches where you just hope to God some of the people being mocked aren’t in attendance (Bill Clinton for one, George Clooney for another). Unfortunately for Chris Christie, he was in attendance and suffered nearly three minutes of jokes aimed at him alone. Oh, and McHale also tried to make healthcare.gov’d the new Britta’d with mixed success.

At least, save for the Guantanamo joke that opened the monologue, McHale takes it relatively easy on the President.

Is it funny? Yes. Is it uncomfortable? Absolutely. (But the Peyton Manning joke was UNCALLED FOR).

Update: There were no hard feelings between Chris Christie and McHale?
