Best I can tell, some guy found this on his Facebook feed, and tossed it up on YouTube, and within a few hours, Reddit had found it, and I’m guessing that, by the end of the day, the guy in this video’s life is going to change. I think his name is Jesse Stewart. I have never heard this song, and I couldn’t find the lyrics online, so it may be an original, but original or not, one guy with a tiny guitar just completely crushes it. It’s infectious, clever, and good.
I wasn’t going to post this, but honestly, I’ve listened to it 5 times now, and it’s one of the best news songs I’ve heard in a long time (I only wish the dumbasses around him would’ve kept their mouths shut, but whatever: One of them was his father, and he has plenty of reason to be proud. His kid is wicked talented). The first couple of times I heard it, I may have even clapped for the guy. Alone. In my house. It’s that good.
It also happens to be a supreme tribute to one of life’s greatest treasures: Cold beer.
Someone sign this guy to a record label. Yesterday.
