Helen Mirren's Super Bowl Commercial is the Best Thing Budweiser Has Ever Done By a Wide Margin

We’re now officially in that weird pre-Super Bowl lead-up where all of the ads that companies have spent millions of dollars to air during the game are now being released online. Still, we don’t have to understand the economics of the situation to enjoy some of these commercials. Take, for instance, the greatest beer ad ever made.

Of course, this isn’t technically a beer commercial, I suppose. If it were, we’d maybe have to dock a whole bunch of points because Budweiser isn’t beer. It’s garbage water. Instead, Helen Mirren, “a notoriously frank and uncensored British lady,” (she knows her brand) wants you to stop drinking and driving. Just stop it. It’s not fun. It’s not safe. Just do what Helen Mirren says and stop driving drunk forever.
