I miss Emma Stone. If you don’t watch Cameron Crowe or Woody Allen movies, she’s been sadly absent from our lives since The Amazing Spider-Man 2, although she does have a few promising films in the works (the lead in Cruella and a dancing love story with Ryan Gosling from Whiplash’s Damien Chazelle).

Stone showed up this week on the season finale of Maya and Marty (a show I had completely forgotten about), and went Anna Kendrick on a couple of butter tubs while putting together a fantastic rendition of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend.” It’s a real crowd pleaser.
