Attention Screenwriters, Flawed Thinking Isn't The Same As Complexity: 'Beyond The Reach' Trailer
I don’t know anymore, guys. I just don’t know. Why is this?
So many things are wrong here. So many things. The two dimensional characters, the unlikely circumstances that started the movie and the continue the story, the chance that Michael Douglas’ shot actually would have killed the old guy, the fact that after accidentally killing one guy a character’s immediate thought is, “I need to cover this up. Better implement a needlessly dangerous plan to kill the witness. You know, instead of just shooting him with this gun in my hand.”
But mostly my biggest problem is this: “I’m not going to kill you, I’m just going to watch you die” isn’t a full plot. It’s a line from a Batman movie.
