The premiere of Better Call Saul is not due to premiere on AMC until February, but during a Breaking Bad marathon over the weekend (which is the only thing AMC has going for it at the moment — the network is not due to roll out any new dramatic programming until The Walking Dead returns), the network teased its Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul.
And that’s all you’re going to get. We do know that Better Call Saul will play with the timeline — it will be both a prequel and a sequel to Breaking Bad and the nine-second clip above looks like a younger Saul (Bob Odenkirk), so presumably it takes place during his earlier years.
The show began advertising last month with this odd billboard in Albuquerque.
The phone number contained a voice recording message from Odenkirk’s Saul in a Irish accent.
