Actually 'The Real World: Skeletons' Will Be As Explosively Predictable As Usual

Remember when I was afraid that The Real World might murder someone? Turns out I was wrong to worry.

See I thought for sure that in an attempt to cut through some predictable characteristics and plot points, the creators had introduced a new, slightly dangerous element to shake things up. It’s understandable while still being slightly horrific. Like releasing a rabid racoon in the breakroom at work to spice up your Thursday. But both I and the creators underestimated these kids. They know how reality tv works, they know the characters, and they know the lines.

I’m being completely sincere: that is amazing. Guy Who Says “Anybody’s Next,” bravo. I couldn’t have written a more perfect Real World line if I were intentionally trying to write exquisitely bad dialog.

Granted this doesn’t mean I’m going to watch The Real World. It still seems like melodramatic garbage, but I’m not worried about these kids. They’ve got long careers on the reality tv circuit ahead of them.
