The People Voicing Your Favorite Cartoons Hate Trump Too

The Internet has been going wild over Star Wars icon/voice actor extraordinaire Mark Hamill channeling his loathing of Donald Trump into a string of scathing Joker deliveries. And yeah, man, they’re at once brilliant, biting, and mind-meltingly too real.

But Hamill isn’t the only voice actor lending his voice in protest against Trump. Tara Strong, who boasts over 460 credits, including roles on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Powerpuff Girls, and Teen Titans Go!, busted out her Harley Quinn to point out the lunacy of statements made by Trump strategist/eternal apologist Kellyanne Conway.

Billy West—who voiced a bevvy of Futurama characters from Fry to Farnsworth, Zoidberg to Zapp Brannigan—chimed in, playing once more off a hilarious and horrifying meme.

Meanwhile West’s Futurama co-star John Dimaggio, who voiced Bender and more recently Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, has become dedicated to retweets of Trump criticism.

This includes retweeting his wife, fellow voice actor Kate Miller, who brought fire to Adult Swim as Debbie DuPree on Sealab 2021 and Grace Ryan / Antagone
On Frisky Dingo.

Seth MacFarlane, creator and many voices on Family Guy, spelled out why Hollywood hates Trump:

Grey DeLisle (A.K.A. Grey Griffin) has lent her voice to so many shows that scrolling down her IMDB page will make you dizzy. But for me, she’ll always be the merciless and glorious Azula of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And while she might voice villains with relish, she’s got no patience for real-life baddies.

When he’s not doing stand-up, co-starring on Silicon Valley, making a movie about his incredible marriage, or doling out Twitter smackdowns, Kumail Nanjiani lends his voice to the mighty pickle-appreciator Prismo on Adventure Time and plucky celebrity chef Skip Marooch on Bob’s Burgers.

You better believe Nanjiani isn’t the only Bob’s Burgers voice to sound off against Trump. Kristen Schaal, who plays Louise, urges you to speak out too!

Eugene Mirman favored a joke.

I’m reading John Roberts’ in Linda’s voice.

Bob’s Burgers’s patriarch/Archer star H. Jon Benjamin suggested a pitch that sounds like it could be an episode of the FXX series…

Lucky Yates, who brings the kooky Krieger to life, is with us.

Aisha Tyler, the Lanaaaaaaaaaa! to Benjamin’s infamous spy, has pulled no punches.

And she’s got words for those who might snit, “well who cares what celebrities think about politics”:
