'Kong: Skull Island' Director Live Tweets Air Battle Against Trump Nation Privilege

Filmmaker Jordan Vogt-Roberts broke through in 2013 with his winsome coming-of-age comedy The Kings of Summer. Then he slayed with some eps of the excellent and scathing sitcom You’re The Worst. And next year, he’ll be bringing back an icon of monsters with Kong: Skull Island. But in the meantime, he’s entertaining us with tweets, including the saga of sharing a plane space with an entitled and weirdly drunk Trump stumper. “Weirdly drunk?” You might be thinking. “There’s nothing weird about getting a good, hardy buzz on in a plane.” It’s not the location that makes it weird. It’s how this rumbly conservative a-hole gets there. And oh where it goes from there…
