'Wayward Pines' Could Be a Return to the M. Night Shyamalan We Remember

We’ve been hearing about M. Night Shyamalan’s Wayward Pines sporadically for a few years now. We got a first trailer late last spring, and haven’t heard much since. Now a new trailer (or quite possibly the same trailer; I honestly can’t remember) is out, with a release date of “May,” and I have to say, I’m way more excited than I was expecting to be. This looks like it could be a bit of a return to form for Shyamalan, not in that this has ghost kids or crazy Samuel L. Jackson running around f*cking up Bruce Willis’ shit, but just that it looks like something we might actually enjoy watching.

Or am I just missing Twin Peaks? Not this this is ANYTHING like Twin Peaks, it’s totally different because it’s in Idaho and Terrence Howard is eating ice cream, not pie, duh. Not at all Twin Peaksy.
