‘The Circle’ Winner and Fan Favorite Is Crowned. I’m Not Mad!

Friends, let’s just get straight to it. The first season of The Circle is over, and I’m not really sure what to watch now because this show dominated my life for the past two weeks. I absolutely loved every second of it, and I’m so sad it’s over. If you’re here, you’re either a fan, too—or you love spoilers. In either case, you’re here and that’s what matters, so without further ado, let’s discuss the winner of the first season of The Circle, and the fan favorite, too. Each of these illustrious titles comes with a $100,000 cash prize, and although my pick for each did not win, I’m not mad with who did.

Bro-y Joey won The Circle, and dammit if I didn’t get a little choked up when he won, even though I was rooting for Chris.

Joey by far had the biggest turnaround for me as a contestant. I very, very, very much wanted to hate him, but he made that basically impossible and won me over in a big way. He’s a good egg, that one, and I’d be very surprised if he and Shooby haven’t taken their bromance to the next level by meeting each other’s parents. Remember—#FamilyisEverything.

Who won fan favorite? In case you weren’t following The Circle contestants on social media, you may not be aware that the viewers were able to vote on their favorite member of The Circle, which was open to all contestants. Yes, I voted for Chris multiple times. I really love him. Alas, it was not to be for him, but my gal Sammie is an excellent choice for it as well.

Did anyone else notice that Sammie was sending subtle messages via the books she kept on her nightstand? I noticed “The Wizard of Oz”, after Adam’s catfish was revealed, and “The Age of Innocence” in the second-to-last ep. It must have gotten pretty boring to live in an apartment by yourself like that, or maybe I read too much into this, but whatever. The Circle was my happy place for the past two weeks, I can’t wait for it to come back. It has to come back yes??
