Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories will soon return to television. The 1980s anthology series has been resurrected by Apple TV+ with five new episodes that boast fresh tales of fantasy and science-fiction.
Spielberg’s back as a producer on the revived series. Serving as its showrunners are Once Upon a Time creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The pair have brought together a quintet of directors from The Americans, Game of Thrones, Unbelievable, Utopia, and Stomp The Yard to helm these eponymous tales. Plus, Amazing Stories boasts a star-studded cast that includes Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien, The Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti, Shameless’s Sasha Alexander, actor/director Edward Burns, Halt and Catch Fire’s Kerry Bishé, The Chi’s Jacob Latimore, Lost’s Josh Holloway, The True Adventures of Wolfboy’s Michelle Wilson, Camping’s Duncan Joiner, Catch-22’s Austin Stowell, E’Myri Crutchfield of the upcoming season of Fargo, and the late Robert Forster in his final television appearance.

THR reports the first episode, titled “The Cellar,” will premiere in Apple TV+ on March 6. New episodes of Amazing Series will debut each Friday.
