Rather than devote posts to each and every cancellation, renewal, and pilot pick up, I’m going to keep a running list here, and update as necessary. If details are needed, they will be provided in linked posts.

Off network, I’m also so sad to report that the phenomenal “Southland” has been cancelled.

Series still on the bubble: “Neighbors,” “Hannibal,” “The Taste”

NBC

Cancellations: “Go On,” “Whitney,” “Up All Night,” “Deception,” “1600 Penn,” “Rock Center with Brian Williams,” “Guys with Kids,” “New Normal,” and “Smash.”

Renewals: “Parks and Recreation”, “Community.”

Pick Ups: “Blacklist,” (The world’s most wanted criminal (James Spader) mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with. His only condition is he will only work with a newly minted FBI agent (Megan Boone) with whom he seemingly has no connection); “Night Shift,” (ensemble medical show following Army doctors working the late shift at a San Antonio Hospital);”Welcome to the Family,” (chronicles how cultures collide when white parents and Latino parents are bonded together by their children; “About a Boy” “Crisis” (with Gillian Anderson), “Believe” (from J.J. Abrams), “The Family Guide,” and “Sean Saves the World” (details here and here). NBC has also picked up an “Ironside” reboot with Blair Underwood, along with another Bill Lawrence series, “Undateable,” with “Whitney’s” Chris D’Elia in the starring role, about a slacker guy who teaches dumbasses how to date women. In addition, they’ve nabbed “Chicago P.D.” a spin-off of their middling hit, “Chicago Fire.”

Fox

Renewals: “New Girl,” “The Mindy Project” and “Raising Hope.” “American Idol” will be back, but likely with an all new set of judges (Randy Jackson has already confirmed his departure), “Bob’s Burgers,” “The Simpsons,” “American Dad,” “Glee,” and “The Following.”

Cancellations: “Touch.” However, there is talk of bringing back Keifer Sutherland’s “24” next year for a limited run.

Pick-Ups: “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (with Andy Samberg), “Rake” with Greg Kinnear, “Us and Them” (the “Gavin and Stacey” remake with Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel), “Enlisted,” “Sleepy Hollow,” “Gang Related,” and “Almost Human.” (details here)

CBS — Practically the entire schedule has been renewed, including “Criminal Minds” (renewed for two more seasons today) except for “Two and a Half Men” (still in negotiations).

Cancelled: “Rules of Engagement.” “Golden Boy,” “Vegas,” and “CSI: NY.”

Pick-Ups — Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s “Crazy Ones,” about a father and daughter working together at an ad agency; Greg Garcia’s Will Arnett sitcom, “The Millers” about a recently divorced guy whose life gets more complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own; Chuck Lorre’s Anna Faris and Allison Janney sitcom, “Mom” about a newly sober mom trying to pull her life together in Napa valley; “We Are Men” about a young guy who finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys he meets in a short-term rental complex (Chris Smith, Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell star); “Hostages,” a Jerry Bruckheimer drama about a family (Toni Collette, Dylan McDermot) caught in the middle of a grand political conspiracy that will change their lives forever; and “Intelligence,” a procedural with “Lost’s” Josh Holloway, about a cyber command agent agent with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

ABC
