One thing New Girl has always done extremely well is to make the rest of the world feel a lot better about their life choices. Because you may not feel like you have your shit together in your 20s or 30s (or 40s, or 50s, or… ever), but remember when you learned about Nick’s box of bills he keeps in his closet?

Didn’t that make you feel better about all of the much milder ways you may happen to be sabotaging your own life? Last night’s episode, “Walk of Shame,” took the gang’s questionable adulthood to new levels. And that should make you make you feel good about yourself. Because yes, you are still an adult, even if you don’t like hanging out in art galleries.

Even if you make questionable pseudo-sexual choices.

If you don’t have the greatest sense of fashion.

But you are still an adult, dammit.

And you have advice to give.

So don’t let anyone make you feel less than the sparkling unicorn diamond you are.

You just do you.

And be proud, damn it.

Of whatever you may be.
