The holidays are upon us and filled with good cheer. But our eyes are on a senate race that takes place next year! Could Democrats possibly reclaim the Senate? Mitch McConnell has been very much again’ it! I need someone to explain this all to me. So I turned on TBS, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee!

Phew! OK, no more rhyming. I was just feeling inspired by a new segment from Full Frontal. To discuss the Georgia runoff, Samantha Bee brought in Jon Ossoff (dammit, I said no more rhymes). Not only did she get the Democratic Senate candidate to discuss the race and his opponent, she makes an apt comparison: Mitch McConnell is the Grinch.

Now that is such things as nightmares are made on. It’s also depressingly accurate. But, Samantha makes it fun! She actually spent most of her latest episode discussing the Georgia runoff election.
